Study Recruiter - Early Phase Clinical Trials

We're seeking a dynamic and results-drivenStudy Recruiterto join our Enrollment Services team in Berlin. You'll be at the heart of clinical research, identifying and recruiting qualified study participants while coordinating every aspect of the enrollment process. This is a pivotal role where your organizational excellence and interpersonal skills directly impact the success of groundbreaking clinical trials.

Key Accountabilities:

Subject Recruitment & Database Management

• Extract and identify qualified volunteers from medical databases, building targeted subject lists aligned with study protocols

• Maintain and continuously update our volunteer database with precision and attention to detail

• Leverage your knowledge of interested candidates to optimize recruitment outcomes

• Develop comprehensive expertise in study designs, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and participant requirements

• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians throughout the screening and admission process.

Study Coordination & Enrollment

• Orchestrate study information sessions, screenings, and appointments with meticulous planning

• Keep participants informed and engaged throughout their study journey, explaining timelines, accommodation, and expense allowances

• Coordinate control examination appointments in collaboration with medical staff

• Monitor timelines rigorously and deliver real-time updates to leadership

• Manage study advertisement budgets and select media channels aligned with study needs.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Review study protocols and volunteer information for inconsistencies and suggest improvements

• Ensure all established timelines are met and enrollment is conducted according to sponsor protocols, GCP, and EPCU SOPs

• Perform rigorous quality control and participate in pre- and post-study audits with sponsors and regulatory staff

• Support feasibility feedback to all departments regarding new and upcoming studies.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Coordinate with recruitment team members to maximize enrollment potential for assigned studies

• Act as a bridge between study participants and medical/administrative staff

• Provide initial training and supervision for newly hired team members

• Participate in team meetings including study kick-offs, preparation, and initiation training

• Deliver comprehensive recruitment metrics and statistical reports to leadership, Project Management, and clients.

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum 1 year office administration, database administration, telesales experience, customer service work experience or

similar

• Education with medical or commercial background

• Experience with clinical research processes preferred

• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and regulatory requirements beneficial

Education

• School-leaving certificate of secondary modern school or A-level required

• Commercial, medical or scientific education preferred

• Fluent in German required

• Basic English language skills required.
